What is Triad Montessori Doula Services?

My name is Skye Dodson M.Ed, mother to three beautiful daughters. I am passionate about assisting and supporting families through pregnancy, birth and postpartum care. I am available to support families in:
  • Navigating nutritional and health needs for a healthy and comfortable pregnancy.
  • Providing support in decision making and developing a birth plan, while respecting the choices and decisions of the birthing person. 
  • Comforting and advocating for my clients and their families through labor and delivery.
  • Offering postpartum support through age 3, using Montessori and RIE caregiving methods.
  • Assisting and coaching families through the toilet learning process.
  • Supporting families in using Positive   Discipline for toddlers and pre schoolers. 

I received my certification as a birth doula through DONA International. I am AMS Montessori certified at the birth-3 level (2007).  Certified in Positive Discipline (2012) as well as RIE training and experience (2010). I have practiced these disciplines in my home and in the classroom, running a Montessori/RIE infant program for 9 years. I enjoy supporting families in respectful caregiving practices that support infant development, and giving guidance in preparing Montessori environments for infants and toddlers in the home.  Parenting can be challenging! You can count on me to be there for you every step of the way.
